My name is Dominika and i live in Sitges, Barcelona. My passion is interior designs and with Studio Dominika 99, I help my clients in Spain and around the world to create a perfect spaces.

Interior Design is the art and science of understanding people’s behavior, to create functional spaces within a building. Interior design is a multifaceted profession that includes conceptual development, space planning, site inspections, programming, research, communicating with the stakeholders of a project, construction management, and execution of the design.

The interior design process begins with an initial consultation, then progresses to a series of meetings to discuss the client’s requirements, to develop a concept and an overall plan. Along the way, the interior designer will collect information such as floor plans, measurements, fabric swatches, furniture and accessory selections, and color schemes. Once the plan is finalized, it is time to execute the design.

At this stage, the interior designer will work closely with architects, builders, and engineers to ensure that the results are as envisioned. Specific tasks may include selecting materials, finding furniture, selecting the color palette, creating wall finishes, and selecting accessories. All these components will be tailored to meet the client’s needs and to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing space.

The interior designer must also employ a wide range of skills, such as understanding of building codes and safety requirements, knowledge of materials and techniques, and an understanding of current trends in furniture and accessories. Artistic talent, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills are also highly important. Additionally, the interior designer must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work successfully with clients and other professionals.
