Description
Julien Moreau is a French Practitioner of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Sitges
Traditional Chinese medicine is one of the three great medicinal philosophies also called ancient learned medicines. It is based on a philosophy, an understanding of nature and of human beings evolving in balance with their environment.
For this practice, first of all, 20 or 25 minutes minimum are necessary for a diagnosis and an anamnesis. I practice observation of the tongue, taking the pulse, palpation of the meridians, questions, etc. Based on these analyses, I then determine the root cause, corresponding to the reason for the imbalance and its real origins. In conclusion, I offer you a solution that will rebalance the Qi*.
The tools at my disposal are:
- Acupuncture
- The Chinese Pharmacopoeia
- The Gua Sha
- Moxibustion
- Tui Na (Chinese massage)
- Suction cups
*“Qi” is the foundation of Chinese medicine. Pronounced “ Tchi ”. This is invisible, but palpable and present in all our movements and during all our transformations.
Qi is divided into three energies :
-
Vital (or ancestral)
-
The air, captured by our breathing
-
Food absorbed by our body
Qi is therefore a primordial material substance. And above all, it is the essence which, through the impetus of its energy, allows animate or inanimate “things”, as well as living organisms to develop. In conclusion, to exist in the forms in which they materialized.
All organic bodies live only through the accumulation and concentration of Qi.
As soon as it weakens, it loses its concentration, dissipates, even disappears, the animated organic body withers and eventually dies out. First, in our body, energy flows on the surface, but also in depth, through each meridian that connects matter, organs and influences the physical and physiological parts of our being. Secondly, a trauma that can lead to a blockage will cause a lack of harmony in its circulation which will cause internal and external imbalances.
The purpose of the session in traditional Chinese medicine
It is to take all the elements of the person as a whole and to propose to work on a rebalancing of Yin and Yang in order to circulate the energies as well as possible.
