Jazz Antic Sitges 2025 is the twelfth edition of the annual Sitges jazz festival will see theatres, restaurants, streets and other spaces fill with classic jazz bands from around the world, giving Sitges a special old time atmosphere. Sitges musician Joan Pinós is the artistic director and master of ceremonies for this event, which is more fun each year. Special prominence is given to swing, jazz manouche (‘Gypsy jazz’) in this festival which gets everyone moving their bodies, no matter how young or old!
The festival is held from April 9 to 13 and brings together more than a hundred musicians from the Catalan and international artistic scene. ans.

Once again, the traditional parade will be the distinctive feature of the Jazz Antic Sitges festival, gathering musicians from Sitges and from all over the world through the town’s streets. The musical parade is scheduled for Saturday, April 12th from 6:30 p.m. The musicians’ route will start at Pl de L’Ajuntament and continue through Carrer Major, Cap de la Vila, Sant Francesc, Sant Gaudenci, Sant Josep, Bonaire, Joan Tarrida, Marquès de Mont-Roig, Parellades, Cap de la Vila, Jesus and Francesc Gumà.
Other notable events
As usual, the festival is likely to dedicate a day to Jazz Manouche, a style of music born in the first half of the 20th century thanks to the guitarist Django Reinhardt.
All performances are free, with the exception of a couple of paid performances.
Live jazz dinners
Since the first edition, dinners with live jazz have been held on the Saturday evening in 4 spaces in the town and last year they were expanded to 6. At each collaborating restaurant there is a surprise concert (9 p.m.) with a band made up of musicians who will have participated in the Parade.
Educational side of the Sitges Old Jazz Festival: Exclusive concert for Sitges Schools (Friday 11th April)
There is likely to be a show on the Friday morning for first and sixth graders from Sitges schools with the aim of discovering the origin and main characteristics of jazz in New Orleans. One of the goals of Jazz Antic is to open doors to children’s imaginations and provide them with new ways to enjoy music.
