Doctor Miguel Viñas Arenas completed his degree in Medicine at the University of Barcelona. He participated in the Erasmus program, which allowed him to attend the fifth year of Medicine at the Università degli Studi di Napoli (Italy). He obtained one of the first 200 places in the MIR exam among a total of more than 9,000 applicants, thanks to which he was able to access training in the specialty of dermatology via an internal resident doctor. He completed the specialty of Medical-Surgical Dermatology and Venereology at the Bellvitge University Hospital . Also during that period he was able to train in Pediatric Dermatology at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital . Since 2008 he has served as Head of the Dermatology Section at the Consorci Sanitari del Garraf ( Hospital Residència Sant Camil and Hospital Sant Antoni Abad ).

He is currently a member of the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology , a full member of the Acadèmia de Ciències Mèdiques de Catalunya i Balears , of the Catalan Societat de Dermatologia i Venereologia and a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology
