Festival Dona Sitges – Art en Feminí
The seventh edition of the Festival Dona Sitges (Women´s Festival) – Feminine Art is here, with a series of top notch events. We aim to reach all types of audiences by offering cinema, music, cabaret, theatre and more! Our conviction that the visibility of women in all aspects of life, but particularly in the arts, must be emphasised throughout the year is manifested in this wonderful festival, which fills the whole year with feminine events.
The Art en Femení event takes place from 6-12 September and includes the following:
WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 1
LITERATURE | Presentation of the book Valenta com tu by Iolanda Batallé Prats.
7 pm · Jofre Vilà Assembly Hall
Accompanied by 6 women, 6 generations, the same fight. Host of the event, Blanca Moreno, director of the MiT Consultancy, specializing in gender and LGTBI and safety in the prevention of sexist violence.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2
SHOW | Opening of the festival and show The Big Star Show by Sharonne
8.30 pm · Prado Casino Gardens
The Big Star Show by Sharonne, a brilliant and charismatic show starring one of the most versatile and beloved artists on the current scene.
Sharonne, alter ego of actor and singer Cristóbal Garrido, is known for her spectacular voice, her stage presence and her ability to connect with the audience. Winner of the second season of Drag Race España and recognized for her career in musicals, television and cabaret, Sharonne offers a show where music, humor and stage power come together in an unforgettable experience.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 3
ENOLOGY | Pairing with Anna Baqués: Senseless tasting. Do you dare?

This is not a conventional wine tasting. It is a sensory experience that invites you to play, discover and rethink how we perceive wine. A participatory and immersive workshop, a surprising proposal that challenges habits and reconnects us with the pleasure of feeling, smelling and tasting fully.

MUSIC | When the Evening Falls. With Neila Benbey, Gani Mirzo and Juan José Barreda
9 pm · Jofre Vilà Assembly Hall
When the afternoon falls, he pays tribute to Andalusian poets such as Wallanda and Hafsa, brilliant women who challenged the norms of their time through poetry. A musical proposal that evokes the beauty and strength of the female voice in medieval Al-Andalus.

SATURDAY OCTOBER 4
TALLER | Taller Floral amb Loving the flowers
10 am · Jofre Vilà Assembly Hall
Create your own floral centerpiece at the Floral Workshop. Create an autumn floral centerpiece with seasonal flowers, combining colors, textures and volumes for a fresh and elegant composition.

CHILDREN’S SHOW | Journey to the bottom of the sea with Marina Ares, Marta Gimeno and Montserrat Iranzo
6 pm · Prado Casino Gardens
The dancers with their suitcases prepare to take a trip to the bottom of the sea.
The entire audience will accompany them, children and adults becoming the true dancers of the show. The plot is a short story where different objects will be offered which, with the support of varied music, will give rise to proposals of movement and dance for everyone.
