Can Puig School Sant Pere de Ribes

Can Puig School Sant Pere de Ribes offers compulsory secondary education and post-compulsory Baccalaureate, CFGM Gestió Administrativa, FPI and IFE for students with special educational needs. Its classrooms are filled every day with around six hundred students in a building opened in 2000.

The profile of the families is varied: the middle classes predominate, dedicated to the service sector and with a medium-high cultural level; also classes with lower purchasing power and a lower cultural level. It welcomes 20% of immigrant students, both Maghreb, South American and European, strongly rooted in the municipality.
The center of Ribes has great wealth and socio-cultural dynamism: social, cultural, sports organizations, academies, etc.
Due to the increase in the population, since 2010, it ceased to be the only secondary education school when INS Montgròs opened, which began with an educational project that emerged from Can Puig itself.

To offer the youth of Ribes a space of learning and coexistence where the student is treated as a person in growth and maturation.

Language Policy at Can Puig School Sant Pere de Ribes

We are a Plurilingual Institute. This means that Catalan, Spanish and English are taught as compulsory and French and German as optional. In addition, in some compulsory subjects such as History, or optional subjects such as Juggling, activities are carried out in English.
