Welcome to Joan Ramon Benapres Sitges high school.

Our high school is a state secondary, upper secondary and short-cycle tertiary education centre located in Sitges, on the south coast of Barcelona, which offers a wide variety of studies:

• Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO),
• Training and Insertion Programs (PFI),
• Vocational education training (CFGM),
• Baccalaureate (BAT), and
• Higher education professional training (CFGS).

In our school, different modalities of Baccalaureate are provided:

• Artistic
• Scientific-technological
• Social-humanistic

We also offer the following vocational training programmes:

• Hospitality and Tourism:
  • CFGM Cooking and Gastronomy
  • CFGM Restaurant Services
  • CFGS Tourist Accommodation (dual system)
  • CFGS Kitchen Management (also possible in dual system)
  • CFGS Service Management (also possible in dual system)
• Health:
  • CFGS Dietetics and Nutrition

The approximately 1,000 students in our school are distributed in morning and afternoon shifts, with a teaching staff of about 100 professionals.

Inclusive education is one of the main values in our school, with a team of educational psychologists guiding students in their personal and academic development. Additionally, communication and involvement with families are a priority to boost our students’ educational success.

In all areas of knowledge, we consider cross-cutting values such as creativity, cooperativeness, responsibility, and sustainability, in addition to promoting multilingualism in the classrooms.

We are an accredited Erasmus+ centre in all levels, a tool that allows us to improve our educational offer. We have partners in different European countries (France, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Greece, Iceland, Denmark, Germany, etc.), welcoming both students and visiting faculty frequently, and open to new collaborations.

One of the features that characterises our school is project-based work, with which we promote learning actions that drive academic success in different educational stages. This involves introducing new learning methodologies and fostering collaborative and cooperative participation in innovative projects.
