Petit Eden Sant Pere de Ribes

Petit Eden Sant Pere de Ribes is open to children from 2 to 6 years old, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

We are a non-profit association created by a multicultural group of families. Our intention is to integrate the various elements of life in an environment that allows and encourages openness to explore the spontaneity of being oneself, with love and respect, allowing us authentic and constantly evolving learning.

What is Petit Eden Sant Pere de Ribes?

It is a place where children are in contact with nature, in a space that transmits harmony and union with the Earth. Through play and experiencing activities in relaxed, prepared and welcoming environments, children are accompanied taking into account their authentic selves, their learning rhythms, their life processes and their motivations. For us it is important to develop sensitivity towards oneself, towards others and towards nature

Vision

In “El Petit Edèn” the children are loved for who they are and not for what they do. The companion is always present, tuning in with the child to feel what the appropriate action is at each moment.

In our group we have “El Petit Edèn”, a play and growth space for children from 2 to 6 years old in Sant Pere de Ribes (Parc Natural del Montgrós), the “Terra Nostra” organic farming association, and the numerous family meetings that help us to share and grow. We are lucky to also have several personal projects that include Yoga, Qigong, Kinesiology, energetic cooking, music, construction, and marketing, which allow us a more self-sufficient, healthy and balanced life.

Methodology

We work from the experience of games and the experience of activities to achieve meaningful learning.

Accompaniment

We understand that accompanying children means being available, knowing how to wait, giving enough time without anticipating. Therefore, it is essential to always be present with the sensitivity to discern what is best for each child and their understanding.

The companions create spaces and let the children explore the elements themselves and create relationships among the group, remaining at their disposal for whatever they need. We understand that in this way the expression is authentic, free and spontaneous and responds to their real needs in their life processes. We companions have in common a strong interest in investigating our own conditioning and continuing to evolve.

Languages ​​and diversity

Petit Eden is also a multicultural space so we see it as important to be able to serve children in their mother tongues (Catalan, Spanish, English and French).
