Restaurant Description
Hibou Sitges
Hibou Sitges is a restaurant and wine bar serving exquisite dishes with French, Catalan and international influences. Our gastronomic proposal is based on high quality and local products. All our vegetables come from local producers and are organic. The fish and seafood arrive fresh from the Vilanova fish market and the Ebre Delta. Our wines come from small and medium-sized wineries, all carefully selected taking into account their commitment to the environment, caring for the land and maintaining its microbiological life. Our producers practice healthy, sustainable and ecological viticulture, and work with native varieties that develop best in their natural environment. The wines obtained are finer, cleaner and are more delicate. For delicious food paired with speciality wine, in a place where you will notice the difference, visit us. We will be delighted to see you!

The avocado salad I enjoyed at Hibou last night was the best thing I’ve had in a very long time. If you are a fan of Asian inspired salads this one’s for you. Perfectly ripe Avocados, crunchy fried rice, Nori, fresh peas all perfectly tossed with a soy sauce dressing with a slight hint of wasabi! €13 and worth every bit – so good I contemplated ordering a second one!
This was our second time at Hibou, having enjoyed a wine tasting evening here last November. We walk past it on a daily basis, failed to get a table for dinner a couple of times due to being very much last-minute but were happy to see the introduction of a lunch menu recently. Four of us enjoyed all three courses immensely, be it the artichoke and eggs, the tempura salmon, a deliciously tender steak or the indulgent brownie dessert. Accompanied by an excellent cava, we all felt it was well worth the €24.50 price tag. Plus, our waiter was courteous, attentive and warm, and in fact part of the highlight of this outing. A very welcome addition to the Sitges dining scene.
Delicious tapas meal at Hibou the other evening. This delightful little place is run by the lovely Charlotte at the front of house and her chef partner Teol who has the most amazing palette and gift for combining flavours!
My cousin and I shared a plate of the best (and most unusual) patatas bravas I’ve ever tasted, the yummiest vegetable lasagne and steak tartare, followed by a meringue and pancake dessert to die for!
We also shared a bottle of dry rose wine recommended by Charlotte and was divine!
On a previous visit with friends, we shared a plate of aubergine with honey and stuffed calamari, both of which were equally delicious!
This place is rapidly becoming my ‘go to place’ in Sitges for the quality of the food and I’m on a mission to work my way through their entire menu! 🙏 🍷 🧑🍳
