Pizzeria Cap de la Vila Sitges

Pizzeria Cap de la Vila Sitges was the first Pizzeria in Catalonia and probably the first in Spain. Today we still delight our customers with artisan pizzas and fresh pasta – everything is home made.

Our history

In 1967 , Santiago Pérez Soler and Marta Camps Gumà started a new, very daring project for that time, a pizzeria.

In Catalonia there were no establishments that served this wonderful Italian preparation and, in fact, there are indications that suggest that it was also the first pizzeria in Spain.

The beginning was complicated, people were not used to eating pizza , but little by little we managed to make a place for ourselves!

Since then, nothing has changed, the preparation of our dough and fresh pasta continues to be carried out with the same desire and enthusiasm as in the beginning, always accompanied by high quality and local ingredients.

Since 1967 we have had the pleasure of serving thousands of magnificent clients who have accompanied us on this journey.

We only have words of gratitude for all of you who have passed by the pizzeria. We hope to serve you for many more years.
