About Yatai Sitges

Yatai (屋台) is a small Japanese food cart, which typically sells ramen or other hot meals. The name literally means “shop stall.”

In 2011 we opened the doors of Yatai Sitges take away, a small Japanese takeaway located in the town of Sitges. From the passion of Kenzo Koketzu, an experienced Japanese cook and his family, this small but cosy establishment has always worked with the same philosophy “cook from the heart”.

Some of the specialties of Yatai Sitges take away are the Takoyaki,  tasty little octopus-stuffed balls cooked on iron plates with semicircular holes; the Okonomiyaki, which is similar to a grilled pizza made with vegetables; and Yakisoba , Japanese noodles accompanied with vegetables.

In addition we have fantastic Sushi with super fresh fish, thanks to our special cold storage units using Japanese technology of freezing and conservation at ultra low temperature that allows us to maintain the freshness, texture and color of the perfect sushi.

Wednesday and Thursday from 13h to 16h and from 18h to 22:30 h.
Friday to Sunday from 13h to 16h and from 18h to 23h.
