The Sitges municipal bus service is operated by Moventis & offers 3 local services from 06:45 to 21:15: L1, L2 and L3. Tickets cost €1.50 per journey or they are free for Carnet Blau holders.

Goes between the train station and Can Robert park, taking in the CAP; the municipal swimming pool/Policia Local; the Joan Ramon Benapres secondary school; Lidl/Aldi/Caprabo;Vallpineda swimming club and BSB international school; and the rest of Vallpineda, before coming back down to Can Robert park. Parking discounts for Sitges residents
If you car is registered and paying the vehicle tax in Sitges (‘L’IMPOST SOBRE VEHICLES DE TRACCIÓ MECÀNICA‘) you are entitled to pay the residents’ rate for parking in controlled areas in Sitges (around €2 per day or €1 for just morning/afternoon). If your area of residence has residents only parking, you will also be entitled to park there free of charge. You can check this by downloading the blinkay app and entering your registration number. If you try to pay for parking in your immediate area of residence using the app, it should charge you zero.
Discounts on road tolls The tunnels between Sitges and Castelldefels (for the airport or Barcelona) save around 20mins of twisty (albeit scenic) driving, but they are expensive at over €7 per journey. If you are using the route from 2- 4 times in the same day (eg to go pick someone up at the airport you’d use it twice) you can get a 50% discount. To do this you need to sign up for a service like Bip & Go, and then once the unit to attach to your windscreen has arrived, you register for free on the autopistas.com website and add your Bip & Go device as the payment method

The first quarter pass is available from December 30, 2023, and, for the rest of the quarters of 2024, it can be purchased 1 month in advance before the start of its validity, through the following channels:
(ByApp exclusively for the Free Pass for frequent travellers of the Barcelona Commuter Service, except when the origin or destination or both are included in the section of stations between La Farga de Bebié and La Tor de Querol-Enveig that must be acquired through of self-sales machines or lockers)
All customers who currently have the Renfe Cercanías APP or who install it on their mobile terminal (travelers can download it from the Android or Apple store) and register, will be able to purchase the new Free Pass for frequent travelers through this application.
The APP will generate a QR code and a 7-digit locator. They can be validated directly through the QR code readers, installed in the turnstiles or through the devices that the supervision and support staff present at the stations will have available, and directly access the Barcelona Cercanía network.
Children under 4 years old do not need a transportation ticket.
For minors under 14 years of age without ID, the pass is allowed to be personalized with an identity document of the father, mother or legal guardian.
Minors between 14- 16 years of age cannot register for the Cercanías app, therefore, they must be purchased at self-sales or station ticket offices.
It is recommended to purchase this new Free Subscription by credit card, which will allow the deposit to be returned automatically, without the need for the client to carry out any procedure, as detailed in the following section.
The amount of €10 or €20 will be returned, paid according to each case as a deposit when obtaining the pass, provided that 16 or more trips are made in the period . This refund will be made at the end of the validity period of each quarterly pass. . If you do not comply with the minimum trips, the amount of the deposit will be considered compensation and will not be returned.
In the event that the client has purchased the subscription with a credit card, the refund will be made automatically , without prior request by the client, to the credit card with which the subscription was obtained.
For tickets obtained with cash payment, it will be made through the points of sale (ticket offices).
Users must keep the transport ticket in good condition as long as it is valid. A damaged transport ticket does not give the right to any type of return or claim.
Duplicates will not be provided in case of loss or theft.
In the event of a ticket malfunction, an exchange will be made free of charge.

From the platform closest to the beach:
From Sitges to Barcelona (Sants, Paseig de Gracia and Estacio de França) the R2 Sud service runs around every 15 mins from around 0500 -2345. The journey takes about 40mins to Sants on the fast service. A single ticket costs around €4.60. You can save money by buying a book of 10 tickets (Bonotren 10 viajes) or by getting a monthly or quarterly ticket.
From Sitges to the Airport the service runs from around 0500-2230 and takes around 40 mins including changeover time. You take the Barcelona service and change at El Prat de Llobregat, where you wait a few minutes before taking a 5 minute ride to the airport (T2) If you are going to T1, you take a free shuttle from T2 when you get there. A single ticket costs around €4.60. You can save money by buying a book of 10 tickets (Bonotren 10 viajes) or by getting a monthly or quarterly ticket.
From the platform furthest away from the beach:
From Sitges to Vilanova trains run around every 15 mins from around 06.20 until around 00:44. The journey takes around 6 mins and a single ticket costs around €2.40
From Sitges to Tarragona There is a direct train once a day, but in general you can take a train every 30 mins or so from around 0630-2130. You change at Sant Vicenç de Calders and arrive in Tarragona in just over an hour.
The R2 between Sant Vicenç (change for Tarragona or Vilafranca) & Barcelona, via El Prat de Llobregat (change for airport).
