Hi, I am Marta

I am a sensitive, nostalgic adventurer with a rebellious spirt. I am a passionate, sincere lover of nature and animals. I love the spontaneous, perfectionist, harmonious and yet chaotic nature of beauty.

I believe my photography, over time, has become a reflection of my personality. With it I have founf the perfect combiation of passion and mission. It is my place in life.

Marta Recansens Photography Sitges: About Me:

I started getting interested in photography in my twenties, when I lived in London after finishing my economics degree in Barcelona, ​​discovering the world and myself. There I took my first courses when photographs were still developed in a dark room… I especially liked landscape, documentary and travel photography, in accordance with my lifestyle at that time.
I discovered maternity and newborn photography a few years later, with the first pregnancies that occurred around me.  I began to practice and delve into this type of photography, to take some specialised courses and train, which I never stop doing, even now.

But the push that led me to take it seriously came with the birth of my first child!
With this I saw the fragility of life up close and with it a new direction was created in my own life.
With motherhood, we already know that many things change. Now, looking back, I see that my babies, Tian & Kala , have been my driving force and those who have taught me (and still teach me) the way to go..along with my partner, who is always there supporting me.
They are also the ones who give full meaning to what I do and how I do it. I simply create beautiful memories of our ‘extraordinary moments’, that will last over time…in their memory, in mine, in that of their children…memories that make us feel again, make us get excited and remember what we were, what we feel and where we came from.

This is also what I want to achieve for you and your loved ones. With me, you get artistically beautiful and emotional image that express the love that defines you!
